Account Deletion
This page explains how to delete your My Context account and what deletion affects. You can delete your account at any time.
Language notice: This English version is provided as a translation for convenience. The Japanese version is the official version and prevails if there is any discrepancy.
Deletion cannot be undone. All User Content—including conversations, journals, Your Context documents, and imported notes—is permanently deleted from both your device and the cloud. If you need a copy, export your data as Markdown from Menu → Your entries before deleting your account.
Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. If you are subscribed, cancel My Context before deletion from iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting only the app from your device also does not cancel the subscription.
1. Delete in the App (Recommended and Fastest)
If you can sign in on your usual device, you can delete your account in a few steps:
1Open ⋯ (Menu) in the top-right.
2Under Settings & Support, open Privacy.
3Scroll to the bottom and select Delete account and all data.
4In the confirmation dialog, tap Delete. Deletion begins immediately and the app returns to the sign-in screen.
You will be signed out after deletion. Signing in again with the same email address will not restore prior data. You may create a new, empty account using the same email address.
2. If You Cannot Sign In or Open the App
If you cannot delete your account in the app because your device is unavailable or you have lost access to your email address, contact us by email. We will verify your identity and delete the account.
- To: SHIKISOKU.TECH@gmail.com
- Subject: “Account deletion request” (include the registered email address in your message)
- Processing time: We generally complete deletion within seven business days and email you when it is complete.
3. What Is Deleted and What Remains
Deleted permanently and cannot be restored:
- Registered email address and Supabase authentication account
- All conversations and journal entries
- Your Context documents, including each self, shared context, summaries, and your own words
- Imported notes and files
- Local settings, self information, and usage state stored on the device
- Profile, subscription-status, feedback, report, and AI-usage records in the Operator’s database
May remain with external service providers:
- Pseudonymous PostHog usage statistics, consisting only of event names, token counts, and processing times; text and email addresses are not sent. If you want past events deleted, contact us before account deletion so we can verify the applicable identifier.
- Security access logs retained by infrastructure providers such as Render and Supabase under their retention schedules.
- Purchase and cancellation records retained by Apple or Google for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. The applicable store manages these separately from your My Context account.
4. Registering Again
You may create a new account with the same email address after deletion. Prior data cannot be restored.
